Vivienne Rawnsley – Business Rebrand
Vivienne felt the existing logo wasn’t legible and didn’t attract the right customers for her price point. Therefore we were hired to do a business rebrand. Using a strategic brand process, we design her professional branding and marketing materials to help grow her business.

Before the rebrand
Here is the logo before we started our branding process. One of the elements that the client wanted to keep was the background colour turquoise.
Discovery phase
Before we put pen to paper or started creating concepts in Adobe Illustrator we went through a discovery phase with the client. We facilitated a brand strategy workshop that uncovered key elements, essential for building comprehensive brands.
Brand Attributes
A well-designed brand has values and attributes at its core. These form framework that helps guide the creative process and provide constraints to keep those using the brand on track. Referring to your attributes enables your brand to look and sound consistent. They inform your wording choices for a copywriter, your typography and colour options for design and photograph styling.
Sketch phase
Using what we had discovered in the brand strategy workshop, we started to create initial concepts. We produced and sent several high quality, black and white sketches. Viv then decided the designs to be worked up further into the final logo mark.
Focus phase
In this phase, we start to add colour and develop the typography.
Definition phase
In this phase, we start to add images, layout styles and build the visual communication elements. These elements go forward to creating the clients professional marketing materials.
Marketing materials
The client had a speaking arrangement at a conference, therefore needed to turn up on the day armed with the right marketing materials. The conference was just over a week away so as a result, we had to act quickly. We worked closely with her and delivered elegant business cards, professional pull-up banners and flyers on time.
Website Design
Vivienne was dissatisfied with her existing website, consequently, with the upcoming conference we stepped in to help. We understood that she needed something fast so we created a single page website. The website was designed in keeping with her printed marketing materials.
We have since expanded the website, added more pages, a blog, landing pages and integrated it with her email marketing platform.
